Brisbane’s newest pub, The Lord Alfred, has burst on to the scene, boasting three levels, six bars and eight beautifully appointed rooms.
Managing Director Lachlan Furnellflung open the doors on the establishment (formerly known as Hotel LA) showcasing an impressive refurb that has respected the building’s 15-year history.
Launch guests explored the digs that include Alfred’s Bar, the Verandah Bar, the Brasserie and The Watch-House complete with its original jail cells.
Highlights were head chef Jennifer Tucker’s decadent feasting tables and a performance by singer Ellen Reed.
Guests included Lord Mayor Graham Quirk, Cr Peter Matic, Cr Vicki Howard, Brisbane City Council’s Greg Bowden, Singer Luke Kennedy and Fashion Designer Sacha Drake.
