Story Bridge Hotel launches
new dining destinations

Story Bridge Hotel is thrilled to officially launch its two new dining destinations on Wednesday, 12 March.

Already a local favourite for its great dining and drinking venues, the Hotel is relaunching its signature restaurant, Deery’s Restaurant & Smokehouse, and introducing the newest kid on the Story Bridge block, Main St. Bar & Eatery. 

The revamped Deery’s Restaurant & Smokehouse reveals a fresh new look and elegantly relaxed atmosphere for this beloved Brisbane dining spot.

The revitalised space mixes traditional and current influences, with the familiar warm and earthy timber décor given a facelift via more modern styling and furniture, floods of natural light and, the hero feature, an open ceiling creating a spacious vibe and exposing the original timber beams.

The menu has also been given a contemporary update under Executive Chef Jason Walker and Head Chef Adam Clements, offering delicious, seasonally-inspired new culinary creations alongside Deery’s famous char-grilled steaks.

Enjoy one of the restaurant’s indulgent Autumnal dishes, such as the Smoked free range chicken, cooked in an apricot and saffron tagine w/ almonds, peas and mint served over buttered grains and rocket; Slow cooked duck leg, smoked cotechino sausage, roasted cauliflower w/ dukkah, pumpkin and caraway puree; or opt for a steak served up to succulent perfection, from the divine Wagyu Skirt to the 450gm Pure Black Angus.

Next door, Main St. Bar & Eatery is an eclectic, brand-new space offering a cool and casual dining experience.

With a quirky mix of vintage timber benches, mix-matched chairs, retro signage and fabulous large circular booths, and surrounded by windows to fill the space with natural light, Main St. has a unique, fun and laidback vibe.

The welcoming atmosphere is matched by the mouth-watering menu, with a focus on fresh, seasonal produce that is locally sourced wherever possible. From small plates and snacks such as South Australian olives drenched w/ herbs, citrus and extra virgin olive oil; and Wagyu beef and mozzarella polpette w/ soffrito and pangritata; to something more hunger-satisfying like Honey roasted pumpkin, jamon & quinoa salad; or the Main St. Tasting Board, the entire menu is begging to be enjoyed.

Deery’s Restaurant & Smokehouse is open seven days for lunch 12.00pm – 3.00pm and dinner 6.00pm – 10.00pm. Main St. Bar & Eatery is open seven days 12.00pm – 10.00pm.
